1）Be responsible for scouting, screening, evaluating opportunities from the scientific perspective for collaborations, partnerships, in-licensing, structured transactions and acquisitions.
2）Lead scientific due diligence team to assess external opportunities.
3）Be responsible for following and predicting new scientific and technological development of the industry.
4）Be responsible for making scientific proposals and presenting to various key stakeholders.
5）Work closely with internal and external teams including R&D, clinical, regulatory, manufacturing to ensure relevant project development and progression.
6）Be responsible for scientific input in business negotiations.
7）Represent Simcere at the industry and scientific conferences; develop and maintain relationship with a wide range of pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry key opinion leaders and consultants.
1）PhD or MD in relevant subjects.
2）7+ years’ experience relevant life science/pharmaceutical industry or academic experiences with demonstrated scientific excellency.
3）Drug discovery and development experience is a strong preference.
4）Strong communication and presentation skills.
5）Strong leadership to lead and work with cross-functional team.
6）Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally 20-30%.
7）Demonstrated Ability to excel in demanding and fast-paced working environment.
